Group courses are coming back soon! I'm not taking bookings just yet, but if you'd love to be first to know when dates go live, pop your name on the waitlist below. I'll be in touch as soon as spaces open up.
Join the waitlist. With only 3 couples per course, there's plenty of space to ask questions, share your worries, and get support that actually feels personal.
Course Format
4 Sessions
The four sessions are delivered across one full weekend. Saturday and Sunday, 1pm to 6pm. When you book, just pick your Saturday and you'll automatically be added to the Sunday too.
Where we meet
The Nurtured Studio, Cullercoats. A calm, cosy space that feels nothing like a classroom. Soft lighting, comfortable surroundings, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere where you can relax, connect with your partner, and feel at ease alongside the other couples on the course.
Small by design
Just 3 couples per course. That's intentional. It means there's space to talk through your specific concerns, ask the questions you might feel awkward asking in a bigger group, and actually feel seen.
This course is perfect if you:
- Want thorough birth preparation alongside other expectant parents
- Live locally to North Tyneside and can commit to a full weekend
- Want your partner genuinely involved and confident in how to support you
- Value face-to-face learning in a calm, nurturing space
- Want to build connections that carry on after your baby arrives

We'll also touch on the postnatal period and what to look out for when it comes to your mental wellbeing. Not to worry you, just to make sure you feel informed, confident, and looked after throughout.

You're not on your own between sessions. I'm here throughout your pregnancy to answer questions, help you work through your birth preferences, and point you towards anything that might help.

Once your baby arrives, I'd love to stay connected. Come along to gentle postnatal meet-ups where you can talk through your birth, navigate newborn life, or just enjoy some time with familiar faces.
Luxury Goodie Bag
A carefully chosen collection of little things to support you through pregnancy, birth, and those early newborn days. Birth combs, gentle scents, and a few comforting treats, all chosen with care.
From someone who's been there
When I decided to do my hypnobirthing course, my husband was pretty sceptical. But he listened, and he came along. After the first session he turned to me and said "I wish we'd done this before our first was born."
If you've had a previous birth that didn't go the way you hoped, or your partner wasn't as involved as you needed them to be, this course can help you both feel genuinely prepared this time.

If you're carrying significant anxiety from a previous birth, or feel like you need more dedicated time and space to work through specific concerns, the 1:1 Bespoke course might be a better fit.

Frequently asked questions
Not at all. The techniques work in any birth setting, whether you're planning a home birth, a hospital birth, a water birth, or a caesarean. They work alongside epidurals, they work during inductions, and they work when things don't go to plan. Real preparation means being ready for anything, not just the ideal scenario.
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise isn't being honest with you. What hypnobirthing does is give you tools to manage the intensity of labour, reduce fear and tension, and stay as calm and focused as possible. Many people find that changes their experience significantly. But every birth is different and the goal is always to feel prepared and in control, not to promise you a perfect outcome.
Hypnobirthing is a method of birth preparation that combines breathing techniques, relaxation, visualisation, and an understanding of how your mind and body work together during labour. The "hypno" part puts a lot of people off but it's not about being in a trance or losing control. It's actually the opposite. It's about feeling calm, informed, and in control of your experience, whatever that looks like.
Anytime between 16 and 34 weeks is ideal, though earlier is absolutely fine if you're feeling anxious. The earlier you start, the more time you have to practise the techniques until they feel second nature, and the longer I'm in your corner throughout your pregnancy. That ongoing support really does make a difference. If you're further along than 34 weeks, don't panic. Just get in touch and we'll figure out what works for your timeline. It's never too late to feel more prepared.
Yes. Sceptical partners are welcome here, in fact they're pretty common! Tell them to come along with an open mind and see what they think after the first session. The approach is rooted in science and psychology, not crystals and whale music. Most sceptical partners come out of the first session saying they wish they'd known about this sooner. It's practical, evidence based, and genuinely useful for them too, not just you.
Books and videos are great for information. But information on its own doesn't prepare you for birth. What actually makes a difference is knowing how to use the techniques when you're in the middle of a surge and your brain isn't in its calmest place. That takes practice, guidance, and someone who can tailor things to how you specifically respond under pressure. You'll also have ongoing support throughout your pregnancy so if something comes up, a difficult midwife appointment, a wobble at 3am, a question you forgot to ask, I'm there. No YouTube video can do that. And your partner gets to actually learn alongside you, not just read over your shoulder.
Honestly, it might be the most right for you. Working through a previous birth experience is something we can do together, at your pace. The 1:1 course is specifically designed for this, there's space to process what happened before, and then build genuine confidence for this time.
You can book any of the courses directly through this website. Simply browse our antenatal or postnatal courses, choose the dates that suit you, and reserve your place online. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
Honestly? A few things. My courses go beyond standard hypnobirthing techniques. You'll cover the science of birth, pain relief options, how to advocate for yourself in the room, and what to expect in those early postnatal weeks too. It's genuinely comprehensive. Every course also includes ongoing support throughout your pregnancy, not just during the sessions. And because I've been through a difficult birth myself and come out the other side, I'm not just teaching techniques I've read about. I know what it feels like, and that shapes everything about how I teach. There's also no one-size-fits-all here. Whether you choose 1:1, group, or online, the content is designed around real people, not a textbook.
