Baby yoga & mindful mama

Movement for them, mindfulness for you. These sessions blend gentle baby yoga with moments of calm for caregivers, creating space where you can both stretch, breathe, and simply be. Because looking after yourself matters just as much as looking after them.

These sessions are designed to nurture connection between you and your baby whilst building a supportive community with other local families. Because parenting doesn't have to feel so isolating.

Course Format

Held in my cosy North Tyneside studio, Baby Yoga & Mindful Mama offers space to move together, find moments of calm, and connect with other caregivers who get it. There's no pressure to be perfect or know what you're doing, just gentle guidance, honest conversation, and a community that grows alongside you.

When & where

  • Location: Nurtured Birth & Beyond Studio, North Tyneside
  • Frequency: 4 week block - choose from Tuesday 10am, Fridays 10am or 1pm
  • Who It's For: Suitable from 8 weeks (once you've had your postnatal check) up until walking (if you're unsure just get in touch)

On week 4 of each block we will be joined by Emily from Bloom, Blossom and Blush Photographer to capture some special moments with you little ones. You will receive one image as a thank you for joining me in these sessions and have the opportunity to buy more from Emily directly.

Do I need to commit to a full block of sessions?

It depends on the session. Some are drop-in, some are block bookings. Either way there's no pressure to commit to more than feels right for you right now.

What if my baby is unsettled or cries the whole time?

That's ok, it's just babies being babies! Everyone in the room is in the same boat. There's no such thing as a disruptive baby here. Feed, settle, change baby, do whatever you need to do.

I don't know anyone who goes. Will it be awkward?

It can feel daunting walking into a room where you don't know anyone, especially when you're navigating the early days of parenthood. But that's exactly what everyone else in the room is feeling too. Sessions are kept small and relaxed, and there's something about being in a room full of people who are all running on broken sleep and unconditional love that just... breaks the ice naturally. Most people leave having swapped numbers.

My baby is really young. Is it too early to come along?

Not at all. I have sessions which are suitable from birth, others are suitable from 8 weeks, so whenever you feel ready to venture out, we're ready for you. There's no pressure to have it together, come exactly as you are.

We offer a range of postnatal services including breastfeeding support, baby massage classes, and postnatal recovery sessions. Our team is here to support you and your baby in those important early weeks and months.
