These sessions blend gentle baby yoga with mindful moments for caregivers, creating space where you can both move, breathe, and simply be. It's developmental support for your baby and a genuine chance to pause for you. Because looking after yourself matters just as much as looking after them.
Movement for them. A moment to breathe for you.
Course Format
Classes are held in my cosy, home from home studio in Cullercoats, North Tyneside. Groups are kept small on purpose, which means you'll actually get to know the people in the room. Most mums keep coming back block after block, not just for the yoga but for the connection.
A typical session includes:
Gentle baby yoga poses that support your baby's physical development
Mindful breathing and grounding moments for you
A simple baby massage routine you can use at home between sessions
Sensory exploration and movement that babies genuinely love
Relaxed connection with other local parents
Refreshments and proper conversation
In week 4 of each block, Emily from Bloom, Blossom & Blush Photography joins the session to capture some lovely moments with your little ones. You'll receive one image as a thank you for joining, with the option to purchase more from Emily directly.
What other mums say:
"The songs, movements holds and stretches we’ve learned in baby yoga are ones that me and my little boy incorporate in to our daily routine now, we love it! I’m learning so much from Bex’s classes - even as a 3rd time mam. I love the time we get to connect to the babies at yoga and just to take a moment to breathe. So much fun and so good for the soul to be surrounded by mammas alike." - Sophie, 3rd time Mum
"We have completed two terms of baby yoga with Bex and will continue for as along as we can. A lovely relaxing class that meets the needs of all children (and their parents).
Bex is so passionate about what she offers, is very knowledgeable, and she makes a great cuppa too! My little one has additional needs and I’m positive the yoga has helped him reach some important milestones recently which is just an added bonus." - Sam, 3rd Time mum
"I loved taking my little one to baby yoga, he had the best time and so did I. The sessions were really calming and adaptable to my little ones ability and the mam chat at the end just made it perfect" - Tori, 1st time Mum

Not at all. Some people come every single week and it becomes part of their routine. Others dip in and out as life allows. There's no commitment, no register, and no guilt if you miss one. Just come when it works for you.
We walk rain or shine, very much in keeping with the North East spirit! Bring a decent coat and you'll be absolutely fine. Any changes or cancellations will always be posted on Instagram first, so it's worth giving us a follow so you don't miss anything.
Yes. The coastal path from Cullercoats Watch House is pram friendly. If you have any concerns about the route just drop me a message beforehand and I'll point you in the right direction.
Not at all. Any caregiver is welcome, whether that's mum, dad, grandparent, or anyone else doing the early months alongside a baby. Everyone belongs here.
Lots of babies do at first, and that's completely normal! That's actually one of the reasons Tummy Time Café is so useful. We'll work through it together and find positions and approaches that make tummy time feel less stressful for both of you. There's no pressure to nail it in one session.
Absolutely. You don't need any yoga experience whatsoever. Baby yoga isn't about being bendy or knowing the poses. It's about gentle movement, connection with your baby, and a bit of time to breathe. Everything is adapted for new parents and tiny babies, so you'll feel completely at ease from the very first session.
Just yourself and your baby. For studio sessions it's worth bringing your usual nappy bag essentials, a muslin or two, a change of clothes for baby, and a bottle of water for you. I provide mats, props, and refreshments. For the Nurtured Walk, bring a decent coat, your pram or carrier, and comfortable walking shoes.

That's just babies being babies! Everyone in the room is in exactly the same boat. There's no such thing as a disruptive baby here. Feed, settle, change a nappy, do whatever you need to do. The sessions are led by your baby, not a rigid timetable.
Honestly, everyone walks in feeling exactly like that. Groups are kept small and the atmosphere is deliberately relaxed, and there's something about being in a room full of people running on broken sleep and unconditional love that just breaks the ice naturally. Most people leave having swapped numbers.
